It's A Team Effort

We know that washing, toning and moisturizing isn’t always enough to look great.  To address specific skin issues Don’t Call Me Ma’am offers a line of serums to be used under your day or night moisturizer.    Serums are the little gift that keeps giving to your natural beauty!

We hear a lot of specific concern these days about dark spots.  The goal is clear, smooth and bright skin that is free of those pesky dark spots.  We have a couple of serums that can help; Gimme More C and All Lit Up are two of them.

All Lit Up

All Lit Up
It took us a while (luckily it was a labor of love) until we developed this serum designed to help fade and remove dark spots and brighten your complexion.

All Lit Up features a number of key ingredients expertly combined in a soothing base of Safflower, Almond and Avocado Oils.  We use Glycolic acid as a natural exfoliant which helps to scrub away age spots and added Retinyl Palmitate to stimulate cell renewal.  Then we blend in Tocopherol (natural Vitamin E), which helps repair sun damage and Ascobyl Palmitate, a stable and nonacidic form of vitamin C, to assist in the repair and renewal efforts.

Sometimes an additional clever maneuver is required to complete the play.  In this case AIMING FOR A BRIGHT AND SPOT FREE COMPLEXION, we recommend you start the play with Gimme More C and complete it with All Lit Up.

Gimme More C

Vitamin C is one of the darlings of the skin care industry.  But, take care, not all forms of C are created equal, especially when needed to boost skin lightening, brightening and moisturizing.

This serum blends together the best forms of Vitamin C with antioxidants and nutrients that support skin in many ways.  Gimme More C can enhance collagen production and helps moisturizers to absorb better plus it helps reduce dark spots and reduce wrinkle depth.

Here’s how.

Best forms of C: Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate is considered a stable and effective antioxidant form of vitamin C for skin which is known to increase skin’s hydration levels and improve its elasticity.

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, another very stable form of C, is gentle and non-irritating and is lipid soluble, like the human skin, which allows it to penetrate the skin really well.

Other nutrients:

  1. Lemon bioflavonoids have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.  They help with healthy circulation, boosting collagen, enhancing how your skin absorbs the vitamin c which as shown above does amazing stuff to improve skin clarity and tone.
  2. Lemon essential oil is a natural anti-bacterial and cleanser with exfoliating and conditioning properties.
  3. Tocopherol Vitamin E boosts the effectiveness of the vitamin C.

That is a whole lot of wonderful-ness for your skin!  And, don’t forget that it is even better as an age spot remover when used under All Lit Up.
